Do You Have Any Assets To Sell?

IMI have been extremely pleased by the professionalism of the service offered to us by New England Ltd. They undertook an asset sale from our UK site in Witton using a combination of web auction and direct contact to potential buyers, all of which was undertaken very professionally. New England’s attention to detail, their understand of our requirements combined with flexibility proved a perfect combination.

Dealt with Mr. Tom Heath of New England Ltd, excellent service throughout the entire transaction. They kept us updated on progress of purchase, loading, shipping and even kept in touch after delivery. Very wide range of machine tools available in good condition. We would not hesitate to do business with them again in the future!

Thanks gentlemen!
I bought you a lathe used Colcester Triumph, as a rule, I asked the general state of the machine, such as electronics, as in mechanics, Mr. Tom Heath, assured me that everything was in order! So it was! The machine works perfectly!
I recommend these gentlemen very seriously!

So far VEM Group has used your company and your website for 2 dealings.

One time to buy a machine from the UK for our India Plant and the other time to sell one of our machines from our Bulgaria company.

In both times your service / support worked very well and we got what we were looking for.

I can recommend your company to 3rd parties and wish you all the best

I would recommend New England and his team for any assistance in the removing, transporting and selling of used machinery.
The service Tom and his team offer, is literally cradle to grave.
The whole process, was performed in the most professional manner, and to Kaman Tooling expectations.

Kaman Tooling via New England sold the old machines, that where of no further use to Kaman Tooling.
Kaman Tooling received real pound notes !! for the old machines which in my past experience is quite a novel thing, in most cases you pay to scrap the working machines.
The common sense approach was evident throughout the process.

I would not hesitate to use New England again.

I am from South Africa and the machinery I have purchased from Tom were unseen except for photos, videos and Toms personal advice.
My second purchase from New England filled 1x12m and 1x6m container.
Again Tom Heath and New England went out of their way to help me even with machinery purchased from other suppliers and loaded in their premises
The best recommendation for New England I got was from another supplier who was sending a machine to them for inclusion into my containers.
When the supplier heard the machine had to go to New England he emailed me back and said the machine would take a little longer to repair as his reputation was at stake. I would recommend New England to anyone wishing to purchase machinery from the UK.

Just a quick thank you for the service given by New England.

I recently set up a New engineering company and was looking for a CNC lathe. I dropped Tom @ New England a specification of what I was looking for and within hours a machine was sourced. A viewing arranged just as quick. Deal done and dusted in a week at the right price and delivery, what a service. I can’t recommend New England service enough, above and beyond. Thank you for your support and look forward to using the service again in the future..

Having tried various other industry auction sites with very limited (if any) success, I approached New England to see if they were interested in some surplus equipment. They suggested their Auction process was the best option. Photos and descriptions were taken and items listed after agreeing some finer points.
All items sold at first attempt and all financials were arranged quickly with goods collected in very good time. I was really pleased with the service offered and how quickly everything is dealt with, couldn’t fault it and we wouldn’t look elsewhere now

I was really happy with the way you handled the sale of our CMM last year, the whole process was easy and you were always available if we needed to talk to you. It’s re-assuring to be able to trade in used equipment with someone who knows what they are talking about and can add value to the process.

MEPT Ltd

The sale of my 2 machines was handled smoothly and professionally concluding with a very successful final auction. Proceeds from the sale were transferred in a timely manner and I am confident that the prices realised where far better than I could have achieved from the usual auction site.

In the past have bought from New England through on-line auction and private treaty and have been pleased with not only the machinery but also the smooth and uncomplicated process from acquisition through to collection of equipment.

Having been missioned to close and empty the contents of 3 workshops, we spent a couple of months cataloguing the machines and some hand tools and even managed to sell a few pieces. But it soon became evident that it would take us months to achieve the task alone.

A brief explanation of our problem by phone and a couple of days later Tom Senior & Tom Junior arrived on site to assess the situation. Following an inspection of all areas they came back to the office and proposed a complete solution. New England would purchase everything and also guarantee complete clearance of site within our 3 month window, down to the last nut and bolt.

Two days later the contract was signed and we received monies as agreed along with a schedule of works.

17th January our “A Team” arrived to start sorting and cleaning machines and tools, ready to photograph for the auction. Brian & Rich jumped in at the deep end attacking all the large machines, Brian also assessing the future logistics in a difficult access site.

Within the week everything was shiny, all the machines looked loved again. The workshops had also been full of laughter, singing & banter.

We knew we had made the right decision with the right company.

The auction was then held over 2 days, I believe over 500 lots went up on line, many with multiple items.

2 days later the “A Team” returned to clear site with a 3 week window to complete all. Brian’s choreography of clients with their low loaders, transits and cars was very impressive and his repartee with difficult and pushy clients was a master class in one-liners.

After 10 days all was clear and swept, 5 days in advance of our deadline.

Throughout the whole process New England and all of their teams’ interactions with us were extremely respectful of the fact that we were having to vacate the workshops that our wonderful boss had spent 36 years building up.

All of his beloved “toys” that he gradually acquired, now move on to another engineer as they once came to him.

Thank you New England
